Leo makes his debut on MasterChef: The Professionals

Leo Kattou, sous chef at Simpsons, made his debut on MasterChef: The Professionals this week. The series airs at 8pm from Tuesday to Thursday on BBC Two.

Leo worked at his parents’ fish and chip shop before joining Simpsons nine years ago. During this time he has twice reached the final of the British Culinary Federation Young chef of the Year, reaching second place in 2015.

Simpsons chef director Luke Tipping, who made his first appearance on Saturday Kitchen Live in February this year says, “Competing in any kitchen is a huge challenge but to do so under the camera lights and watchful eyes of well-known judges is a different kind of pressure! Leo is a fantastic chef and we were behind him all the way as he prepared and took part in the challenge.”
