27 Jun Simpsons and I Choose Birmingham team up for joint birthday dinner
We are teaming up with I Choose Birmingham and hosting an exclusive birthday dinner to celebrate the past 25 years of acclaimed Simpsons cooking and five years of Birmingham’s most popular weekly newsletter.
On Thursday 26 July, Simpsons chef director Luke Tipping and his award winning team will revisit some of the classics from Simpsons 25 year history – bringing the dishes up to date with some of the restaurant’s latest flavours and techniques.
This one off menu will include:
Welcome cocktail on arrival
A starter from 2002: Citrus cured salmon, pink grapefruit, avocado avruga
Fish course from 1996: Fish, chips, sauce tartar
The main course from 2017: Wiltshire pork belly, BBQ cauliflower, black pudding, smoked eel
Dessert from 1998: Apricot tart, frangipane, lemon verbena ice cream
Luke will be on hand to answer questions about the restaurant and talk through the inspiration behind each of the dishes.
The dinner will be served exclusively for one night only. The dinner will be priced at £65 for four courses and includes a celebratory cocktail on arrival.
