As part of the "Cook the Commonwealth" project, our Simpsons chef director Luke Tipping was asked to share a recipe representing British cooking. So, he chose a cauliflower soup recipe inspired by Birmingham's cultural diversity, specifically the Balti Triangle, a famous area of Birmingham known as the birthplace of the Balti. His recipe uses curry oil to give the rich, complex aromatic flavours of a curry.

The recipe was the second most viewed in the whole of Europe.
